Full title is: Al Jourgensen of Minisry, Part 4 of the New Industrial Revolution. Al Jourgensen, aka Hypo Luxa, aka Buck Satan, aka Alien Jourgensen, aka Alain Jourgensen... The list goes on. This may just be my best sculpt to date. If you've been following my latest journal entries, I've spoken of a new sculpture which is really raising the bar of my own personal standards. Here it is! Technically it isn't a sculpt, either, it's my first successful cast mold, which I'm sure derffie will be proud of! The most special part about this sculpt is not that it's a duplicate of the original, which right now in pieces on my table, but who owns the duplicate: AL JOURGENSEN HIMSELF! As you'll read further in my lates journal entry, I actually met Ministry and presented Al with this sculpture of himself. He was so honoured. You can bet I was, too. Although this isn't the original sculpt, it's practically the same, aside from the fact that this is painted, not precoloured, and that it's made of plastic, not Fimo. Given these minute factors of insignificance, the commentary will apply to both pieces. It's quite small, with par to most of my new ones, he's only about 8 cm tall. The pose is something I smile upon; the 'lean into that amp and grab that mike stand!' position he has is something I'm really proud of. The facial achievement is quite special in this one; he has very distinct facial features and if I say so myself, I think I've captured them well. There was a lot of tiny detail in this piece, too. As you can see from the little pics in the top right, Al is known to wear a lot of obscure jewellry, particularly in the field of necklaces, which I've included for you, the viewers. The detail came most alive with his guitar, however. The infamous Gibson SG hes gribbing is porbably my best guitar to date. I'm so proud of it, I've devoted almost half the image to displaying it, first with the full bottom spread of the axe at the bottom, as well as a headstock shot which actually bears the classic 'Gibson' logo. I'm sure THEHEAVYONE will love that!
This is probably my best sculpture to date, as I've been saying with everything I've been submitting lately. I'm sure whatever I do next will be even better. Check it out in full view!
You can't find it? Shit, I've seen in everywhere for like $11, new. That's Canadian, too, so your funds will be even cheaper. It's such a harsh, ballistic album, by far their heaviest. I've dubbed it Slayer with a drum machine. And no, that's not a bad thing AT ALL. Thanks for the fave, as always.

Very nice man! This does look like it could be your best, you keep getting better and better! I love when you post new stuff. I think the guitar looks absolutely spectacular! I like the detail you've put into his neclaces too. Looks awesome!
Sorry I didn't properly comment before, I just saw "Al Jourgenson of Ministry" and knew that I had to fave it. But now I will properly comment. Basically: THIS KICKS ASS! There aren't many Ministry fans out there, which is a shame because uncle Al is fucking great. And Rio Grande Blood is a pretty damn good album (although The Land of Rape and Honey will always be my favorite.). This is a perfect tribute to him! It really a good resemblence! I'm thinking though that his cowboy hat would of done a better job of capturing his stage presence, but his cop hat works just as well! The details on his SG look so good but my only gripe is that it doesn't have tuning pegs on the headstock, but that doesn't really matter since the rest of it looks marvelous. I must say that this is one badass tribute to my favorite musician ever, so it'll definately get a from me. Excellent work! ...and I'm hardcore jealous that you got to meet both Al AND Sascha K. ...thats so awesome.

I managed to get my hands on my brother in law's copy of "A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste" and it got me hooked.
