I sure hope the edit isn't too bad, all I'm using is Naked Cafe's mspaint program. IMPROVISE!!! Well, if you've seen my last one, the commentary will make a little more sense. This is part 2 of my BIGGEST COMISSOIN EVAR, Greg Graffin of Bad Religion, an 18th birthday comission gift for my friend Derek Headrick. His favourite band is Bad Religion, so I was thrilled to step out of my realm of Industrial and Metal Musicians and take on another totally wicked underground genre: Punk Rock. I was really not too familiar with Graffin, but am very impressed to see that he actually has a PhD in some form of Political Psychology I don't quite care to recall the name of. He's quite outspoken about politican jabber, especially the current war in Iraq. (My kinda guy!!!)
On with the techies: On the line now, but this sculpture basically bears the best hands I've ever made. I can't quite see the image behind this lonely cyber-cafe monitor, but if your image is clearer than mine, you'll notice perfect hand dynamics all around; knuckles, nails, even palm lines. The other little egg lies within the patches on his vest. The top right is obviously 'Bad Religion' printed rather clearly, if I say so myself, the bottom right is an Ace of Spades with a totally deadly Reaper scythe, and, and, AND, best of all...: That little tiny inverted American flag actually has 50 little tiny stars behind the blue. I'm quite proud of this. Thank you all for your patience at my tardiness of updates, I know derffie and sancho-toquito were really itching to see my new material. I hope I haven't let you down.
This looks good man. I am not familiar with this guy either. I like that you put in the effort for 50 stars! Looks good. Like I said on your other part of his gift, that would be wicked for a birthday present!
CERTAINLY NOT......EVER......No way could you let me down, your work is just snowballing to greatness, I would like to say, just as a note the pics are a bit pixelated, not thats ever a critasm of your sculpt.

A great likeness, and as I just said, the hands are getting astounding!
The detail on his jacket... Wow, that's fantastic. I wish I could paint that kinda detail (and I've been painting models for about 10 years now).
That facial expression is priceless and really sumates Bad Religion, lol!!!

Nice, the head seems a bit big for the body, and this figure seems a tad stiff. You seem to be better at creating female figures than males. *smirk* Anyway, it's good, just a little off from your usual stuff.

Another excellent sculpt. Looks like you have a "look" going on to your work. Keep pushing the boundaries. Are you using a lot of tools? How many do you have. Curious.
I'd love to see one in progress at various stages from you eventually.
