One of my favourite bands has, and always will be, Type O Negative. Pete Steele is one of my favourite frontmen, as well. This one is an older piece, so it's got some things that I would today call flaws. It was, however, for it's time fairly well done. A few of my closer followers, especially deviants like thahellion and my friends who have actually seen my newer ones up close probably expect more from me. Oh, well. I'm especially proud of the bass. It seems to be quite well proportioned. This is the problem I'm always running into with guitars: every time I make a guitarist, the guitar always seems to be WAAAAYYYY too long. Since basses are naturally longer, this one looks better proportioned. Kinda benefiting from dumb luck, aren't I? Something I would pick apart is his leg, or legs. They're way too fat. I sloppily touched it up just before I took this pic just to make him look a little less stupid. The obvious flaw is his unfinished tatoo, I had an absolute bitch of a time finding decent pictues of Steele's ink, so didnt' ever finish it. The funny thing is that I've had a good pic for a while, but never got around to remaking the tattoos on his arms. Aside from these two flaws, I feel I've adequately honoured the best goth metal frontman of all time.
I think he looks amazing Andrew, You put the most excwiset detail into all of your sculptures, and this is no exeption. even though you say it is an older peice I still love it.
Damn, that's freakin' awesome. The face is the best part in my opinion, but all round the sculpting is fantastic - I love the creases on the vest. Another one to add to the favourites, for sure.

And she stroked him all the time.
She pricked her finger one day and it
Occurred to her she might have a porcupine.
WOW! Thanks! I thought it was allright, but I never put it that way! I thank you for doing so. If there is one thing I like, it is, as you said, the creases in his tanktop. It came out quite well, if I say so myself.

DAMN STRAIGHT THEY DO!!! Thanks for the comment. I thought you'd like this, you seem to have great taste in metal. By the way, what I notice you're giving sympathy to this fallenrose24. What happened, if I may ask? I'm kind of out of it, so if it's some kind of controversy on DA, I may not be in the loop yet. Fill me in!

Thank you very much! He's not too much older, I just thought I'd fill my deviations in with some other sculptures that sit around my shelf and don't go noticed. It's nothing compared to my newer pieces, but still is something I'm proud of.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
