Artist's Comments

The second edition of Peter Steele, frontman of my all time favourite band, Type O Negative. Now, if any of you caught my latest journal you're aware of the notoriety of this piece; I have deemed that this may just be my best Sculpture to date. You be the judge!
Either way, I feel my regular jolt of triumph, as I do with any Sculpt I finish.
I think what stands out most is his facial development. I always push the boundaries on how accurate the facial reconstruction looks, this one really challenged me. I think with Peter's strong and distinct appearace, recreating such a recognizable face is all the more achieved for me. The wrinkles in his tight and sweaty tank top came out quite well; what I like most is how well it captures under the light and how it contours with his upper body's physical structure, keeping on par with the effect of how tight it is.
I am in love with the tattoos here. As some of you know, I either love tattoos more than anything or hate them more than anything. I had some point blank Photos of them this time, so constructing them was nothing short of a breeze.
As you can see he has a griffin and the classic Type O logo (a tattoo I am proud to share!) on his right arm and a voracious looking mountain cat on his left arm.
If there are any music afficionados out there, please take a look at his Bass! I always like to know the exact make and model of any instrument I make, this one had no images in research, I captured everything off the DVD, something I hate doing.
Anyway, please give me some feedback. I want to know if anyone loves this as much as I do.

This is by far the best thing I've seen from you. The Detail is unbelievable. My favourite part of this piece is the bass itself and the tattoos. GOOD JOB!!!!

It was once told in Symmyrnea... That whoever would talk to pine barks in the forest, write the mystery on the sea with ancient woods and take those faces to the isolated rocks on an island, would find the road to OEGGEM. And...(the end is the beginning)

Ahhhh, yeah! Thanks a bunch, man! But really, do you think it's better than Dani Filth 2? I mean, you really, REALLY liked that one....

In terms of the overall complexity, Dani Filth was better, but in terms of overall look and structure, Peter Steele takes it.
