So I have not updated in a while, harldly have I even checked my dA. I'll take a little bit of time on a quiet peaceful Sunday morning to keep up with my fellow deviants.
Times have been stirring for me! As of late I have been keeping busy on highest terms. Creative Inquisition has been loosely active with my friends Seth Rose :iconsyntheticlamb: Evan Collingwood :iconsyn6: Chris Kirk :iconchristianimated: Chris McDonald (he's not on dA) and recently Shelly Vickers :iconlunanera: Our last show was quiet, yet agreeably successful. We've all expressed interest in the next show so it's only a matter of time now.
As for me things have been higher than ever. Last night was the release of the January 2008 issue of The Notebook Magazine, an Edmonton Arts based magazine which featured 4 of my Emotive Surrealist pieces. What an honour! This one was a benchmark for my career, I haven't really had such active exposure like that. To contradict my last statement, many of you do not yet know that I was also featured in ANOTHER magazine just last year! The German magazine Zillo featured an interview with Dani Filth conducted in his own home. Upon the showings of his collection of masks, artifacts, and yes, other figurines, there can be seen a Photo of Dani holding the Sculpture I gave him last year! Thanks to the deviant :iconaeonhel: for pointing it out to me. I now own 4 copies of the issue.
I've been in contact with Lordi's management, who would like to discuss plans to put a line of Lordi Sculptures together with my creative hands at the helm. In between all the big stuff I've been keeping busy with various commissions here and there. All that's left is my suffering anti-career at National Oilwell Varco. Soon, I will destroy you, DESTROY YOU!
I think that's all for now, I'll keep you all updated in the mean. Until then, I have a handful of newbies coming through. Please check 'em out.

Rest in Peace Paul Raven - 1961-2007

News reports that Killing Joke/Prong/Godflesh/Zilch/Sons of Domination/Pigface/Ministry bassist Paul Raven has passed away of a heart attack.
I'm still shocked- Paul was one of MY heroes. It was little more than one year ago that I met Paul and I am now saying goodbye to him.
I only met him once but can honestly say that I am saying goodbye to someone I call a friend. The world has lost one of the most amazing, talented and not just influencial, but inspirational Musicians.

Goodbye, Paul Raven. I miss you.

I still can't believe what I've just done. Planning had all been so challenging and technical that I lost sight of the glamourour and aesthetic values. I'm doing it, friends, I'm REALLY DOING IT.
Got you going now, didn't I? What is it, you ask?

On October 30, 2007, I am flying to New Jersey to meet, greet and see my all time favourite band: TYPE O NEGATIVE. You've all seen (some have even faved!) my Peter Steele Sculpture, [link] well soon the REAL Peter will be doing just the same.
But, what you all might not get or believe yet, is that once again, this time, I'm REALLY DOING IT!!! Anyone who's been keeping in touch knows of my absolutely humiliating (and miraculously similar) instance of last year's flop; where I really DIDN'T go to Seattle and I really DIDN'T get to meet KMFDM again. Well, this time, once more, I'M REALLY DOING IT!!!

I needed this, friends. I really did. The Fringe wasn't enough for me. It was full of holes, open ends and real let downs. I went in and did well, but I didn't THRIVE. I need to THRIVE!!! Given this has no real (immediate) lucrative gain, this is something I've wanted to do for years but never got the chance to. I have seen, met and given my Art to every one of my other favourite bands on numerous times, it's time for round 1 of Type O. I guess I'll also throw in that round 2 will be shortly (VERY SHORTLY!) after, as I'm hoping to hit the Wantagh, New York show the next night! I'm afraid I'm just too far ahead and can't let it end in one. I must take 2.

I'm sure you all know what I'll be working on for the next three and a half weeks, so feel free to ask the status on the not-so-secret-you-know-whats-and what-nots.

This is a glorious time of triumph. I just had to share my joy. Thanks to all deviants.
With Hatred, Andy Warhead.

Remember this, my friends.

Rather provoking heading, isn't it?
As you can, or will soon see, I will be sharing Artwork I find much more personal than what you're all used to.
Over the past few, especially within the last one year, I have undergone changes that I feel have really let me grow as an Artist. For many years I've been playing with different realms of creativity I want to unleash and share with other Artists, yet I've never really been able to display such feelings on a literal and visual scale. I have now broken my own silence and discovered who I really am as an Artist. This is very special and very personal period for me. I have opened a door that has been shut for a very long time.
Over the next few days, I will be sharing 4 new pieces (one you've already seen) that express a new found style I have adopted: Emotive Surrealism.
If not done so already, I believe I shall just short of coin that phrase, for no two words really describe my work better.

Remember that name, fellow deviants. Emotive Surrealism. Remember this day, too. I plan to make my mark as a professional Artist very soon, this looks like it could be somewhat of an official declaration of my development. You could all be the first ones...

To give you all a better look before you see anything new, please look again at the old Sculpture I made; The Messiah's Entrance. I've changed the Photo and given it new commentary. Please have a look one more time, you will see somehthing different.
